Why uPVC
uPVC is still what most Stourbridge homeowners choose, mainly because nothing else comes close on price for what you get. The frames don’t need painting, they won’t rot or warp, and with A-rated glass in them a cold room becomes a warm one. A wipe down a couple of times a year is about all the upkeep there is.
It’s also moved a long way on from the chunky white frames of the nineties. Slimmer profiles, woodgrain foils, anthracite grey, flush sash designs that sit flat in the frame the way timber used to. You can put uPVC on a Victorian terrace now without it looking wrong.
