Why composite
A composite door is built in layers. A tough GRP skin with a timber grain pressed into it, wrapped around a solid insulated core. You get the depth and detail of a traditional painted door without the sanding and repainting that keeps real timber looking good, and without the flat, hollow feel of a basic uPVC panel door.
It’s become the default front door in this country, and it’s easy to see why once you’ve held one open. It handles the weather, keeps its colour, and there are enough styles to suit a Victorian terrace or a brand new build.
